Creative Movement (3 - 5 years)
Music, dance, and imagination come together to create a fun-filled outlet for self-expression. Through dance methodology, games and improvisation, children are encouraged to find their own creative voice and learn to work together, developing musicality, spatial awareness, listening skills, and range of motion along the way.
Instructor: Elizabeth Emond-Stevenson toured Canada with dance theatre production The Ghomeshi Effect and has created work for Dancers’ Studio West (Calgary), Free Flow Dance Theatre (Saskatoon), Dark Horse Dance Projects (Ottawa), Theatre 4.669 (Ottawa), NextFest (Edmonton), Skylines Dance & Film Series (Winnipeg) and the National Art Centre’s #CanadaPerforms. Her teaching credits include the City of Ottawa’s I Love to Dance program, Propeller Dance, Dovercourt, Ottawa Dance Centre School and Amethyst Women’s Addiction Centre. She is a graduate of the Quinte Ballet School, the School of Dance’s Professional Contemporary Programme and Decidedly Jazz Danceworks’ Professional Training Program.

Each week starts with a fun warm up with our enthusiastic instructors, moves on to some age appropriate drills, and finishes up with a fun game. The emphasis is always on participation. Our aim is to provide your child with a fun and positive early soccer experience that fosters the joy of playing for many years to come! A supervisory adult is required to stay in the park. Parents participation is welcome but not compulsory.
Instructor: Joseph Munro has been working with children for many years, including the past two years as CAG After-School Program Supervisor and this past summer as the Coordinator of Summer Camp Programming.
