MUSIC Together (0 - 4 years) - NEW class added!

Songs, chants, movement, and instrument play in this fun non-performance-oriented musical experience! Developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers — regardless of their own musical ability. The mixed-age family music class is the essential Music Together® class, one that a child can attend from birth to kindergarten (0–5 years) and throughout all nine song collections. Grouping children of a variety of ages fosters natural, family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together. Each child can participate at his or her own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching or exploring musical instruments. Any caregivers—parents, grandparents, nannies—can bring the children. The whole family is welcome and encouraged to participate in this fun and important family music experience.
Minimum number of participants for course to run: 6 families
Instructor: Jesse Kahat-Taillon is excited to be returning to teaching Music Together in Ottawa after a brief hiatus. Jesse has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a music minor from the University of Northern Colorado, and she has been a registered Music Together center director and teacher since 2011. Her passion for creativity and expression shines when she is teaching her Music Together classes and she wants all families to enjoy making music and memories together.
