CAG Board
The CAG board - volunteers needed
CAG is a not for profit organization whose mandate is to provide program and recreation opportunities in the community that are accessible to all. The organization is run by a volunteer board who meet six or seven times per year. Board members are elected each November at the annual AGM. If you are interested in getting involved at the board level please contact Claire Farid, Chair at board@ottawaeastcag.ca. No need to be elected to get started, we welcome non-elected members to come to meetings - its a good way to get involved and see if it is for you! Of particular focus for the board in the upcoming year will be volunteer recruitment and communication strategy planning.

Past Chair, Catherine Pacella: Catherine has a Bachelor of Journalism and Masters in Political Science, is working on a PhD in Political Science and has worked at Ottawa City Hall and on Parliament Hill for elected officials. Cynthia joined CAG last year because after enjoying CAG programs for a number of years she wanted to give back and get more involved. She hopes that by sitting on the CAG board she will be an active participant in making Old Ottawa East a great place to live and raise a family.
Maureen Ward, Volunteer Recruitment: Maureen is an educator who has devoted her career to the planning and management of cultural and educational events for adults and families as the Manager of Programs at the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
