Brantwood Park Field House
It has long been a goal of CAG to offer after school care at the Brantwood Park field house. Our intent was to start a program in September 2013. However in response to requests from members of the community we are investigating the possibility of bringing the start date forward to September 2012.
What do we propose?
•A small group setting - maximum number of participants 16.
•Ratio of 1:8 councillors to children with mature, experienced supervision
•Aimed at the lower grades who might be overwhelmed by larger group settings in other programs
•Lots of outdoor activities, taking advantage of the wonderful park setting
•Depending on hours etc cost anticipated to be in the region of $170/month
Plans however are in the early stages and parental input into shaping the program will be welcomed and encouraged.
Can you be sure it will run if you register?
Yes! We are looking to secure minimum numbers of registrants (10) by the end of May. This is well ahead of the Firehall registration date of June 6. If we have those numbers we can guarantee the program will go ahead. If we do not we will hold off starting this program until September 2013 and families will still have time to secure a space in an alternate program for this year.
