Tue18Feb20207:00 - 8:30 p.m.Old Town Hall, 61 Main Street
In this interactive workshop, participants will learn all about beeswax food wrap. Working together, participants will choose their fabric (you can bring your own if 100% cotton), cut it to the desired size, and have the opportunity to try different techniques to infuse it with the beeswax. Eveline Lemieux has a Masters degree in environmental science and is the owner of Bee Sustainable Food Wrap since 2016. She will introduce some of the ideas behind the usage of these wraps and share tips on how to include them in your day-to-
day life. Participants will walk away with a greater awareness about plastic wrapping problems and solutions, and how beeswax food wraps can be ready to use. We will supply everything needed, however if you have 100% cotton fabric that you want to use and an iron that you can bring, that would be great too! $25, pre-registration required.
