VOLUNTEERS are the heart of CAG events

Volunteers are crucial to the success of our popular events! All our events are put on almost exclusively by a fantastic volunteer crew, without which we would not be able to host the events that we do.

If you are interested in giving back to the community and want to join a great group of people, please consider volunteering with us.

CAG needs YOU!

Please consider volunteering to help continue this wonderful tradition of events or to shape new ones: SIGN UP HERE

VOLUNTEER Commitment and Appreciation

To make our events happen, we need 54 individuals to offer three hours of their time over the course of the year. You could be one of them!

We appreciate our volunteers, and value the time they give. All volunteers are thanked by name on our website, in the CAG eUpdate and in the Mainstreeter. Additionally, we offer opportunities to win gift certificates for our programs, and with twelve volunteer hours accrued, you could be eligible for a free seasonal program!

If you love what we do, we need YOU!

YOUTH Volunteers

Are you in need of high school volunteer hours, community service or job experience? Volunteering with CAG can fulfill all of these needs! Sign up to volunteer for any of our seasonal events or BBQs.

Applicants should be in grade 9 or older.

    The Main Event 2018

This year, why not make more than an appearance at The Main Event? The Community Activities Group of Old Ottawa East (CAG) coordinates the event with the help of volunteers – and we can’t do it without you!
You can choose from an impressive array of opportunities, from flipping burgers to setting up tents, from inflating balloons to collapsing tables – we have it all and we can find something for you.
So don’t just show up this year – show up, help us out and enjoy the day with the satisfaction of having been involved in an event that is enjoyed by so many.
